TIERNEY AND GRAYSON

Great Island holds sentimental appeal for Grayson and Tierney, and their desire to share it’s beautiful remote shores and laid-back energy with loved ones was a central tenant of their celebration. Guests traveled the island on golf carts, joining the couple on boat trips, beach days, and finally at their ceremony, hosted at sunset by the lighthouse. A shared focus on creating a simple, warm environment in which to enjoy their wedding day shone through, ensuring that the wild, lived-in beauty of the island remained central.

A Warm Welcome

Guests joined the couple at the island’s treasured beach club for welcome drinks and a sunset celebration serenaded by steel drums.

An Island Wedding

The morning of the wedding was spent relaxing with their bridal parties before reading their vows privately in one of Grayson’s favorite spots; lovingly named “crab bridge” in reference to the fiddler crabs that often run across the road at high-tide. Guests rode on golf carts through the woods to the ceremony, walking the final few yards up to the landmark lighthouse in time for sunset. Cocktails followed on the point, with guests enjoying a walk along a cliffside path to their tented reception.
