ANNE AND WILL

Anne and Will were married at her family home in Osterville, Cape Cod, a place filled with a deep history for the couple and many memories of summers shared with loved ones. Their full weekend of celebration invited guests to enjoy some of their most treasured locations and activities, creating the feeling of being fully immersed in the joyful start to their next chapter.

THURSDAY

An al fresco dinner

The celebration began with a Thursday welcome dinner for their closest family and friends at Anne’s local private golf club. Anne and Will arrived together in a vintage car that has been part of Anne’s family for generations, a quiet and meaningful nod to the legacy woven throughout the weekend. That sense of history carried through in what they wore as well—both choosing vintage family attire, pieces rich with memory and significance.

The evening unfolded al fresco, with long tables, soft light, and conversations that lingered well past sunset. There was laughter layered with familiarity, the ease of people who know one another well, and the feeling that the weekend was less about a single event and more about being together, fully present. The night drew to a close with shared stories, and the anticipation of what was still to come.

Dockside welcome

Friday unfolded with an easy, celebratory energy as all of Anne and Will’s guests gathered at a local marina. The afternoon was designed for mingling and movement—friends reconnecting on the docks, laughter carrying across the water, and guests drifting between lawn games and shaded conversations as live music set the tone. Mini lobster rolls and cocktails were passed throughout the afternoon, grounding the celebration in a sense of place while keeping everything relaxed and unforced. Heartfelt toasts and twilight conversations carried through the rest of the evening to lead into the wedding day to follow.

FRIDAY

At home, by the water

Anne and Will were married on Saturday at Anne’s treasured family home, set directly on the water—a place layered with memory and meaning. The ceremony felt deeply personal from the start. Anne wore a veil that has been in her family for 168 years, worn by generations of brides before her, while Will arrived by boat, stepping ashore to begin the next chapter of their shared history.

Guests were serenaded by a string quartet playing from the balcony of the house, the music drifting across the lawn and water as Anne and Will exchanged vows. After the ceremony, cocktails were enjoyed on the grass just steps from the home, allowing guests to move freely through the space and experience the setting as it was meant to be lived in.

The evening continued under a clear-top tent designed to feel warm, layered, and inviting. Inspired by the Marbella Club in Spain, the space was filled with patterned textiles, textured linens, bright orange chandeliers, and a custom striped awning at the entrance—transforming the lawn into something both celebratory and deeply intimate. Dinner gave way to dancing as night fell, the tent glowing softly against the water, closing the weekend with joy, movement, and celebration.
