Anne and Will married at her family home in Osterville, Cape Cod, a place filled with a deep history for the couple and many memories of summers shared with loved ones. Their weekend began with an intimate al fresco rehearsal dinner on Thursday, hosted at the nearby private golf club. Arriving in style in a vintage car, their attire honored family history, both donning vintage attire. The following evening, all of their guests joined in the festivities at a nearby marina, enjoying small bites and drinks dockside as the sun set over the water.
On Saturday they wed under the shade of tall oaks, overlooking the bay. In an additional nod to tradition, Anne wore an heirloom veil, a family tradition since 1857. Will arrived for the ceremony by boat, while Anne walked through her grandmother’s treasured rose garden while serenaded by a string quartet from the balcony nearby.
Following the ceremony, guests celebrated in the waterfront yard, moving to a cleartop tent for dinner and dancing. Inspired by one of the couple’s favorite retreats, the Marbella Club in Spain, the tent welcomed guests through a bold striped entrance, and featured orange chandeliers and tall trees, alongside boldly patterned linens.
